This assessment explores the different areas associated with dyslexia and provides an indication as to whether it may be beneficial to continue with a further assessment. This is often used when it is uncertain whether a full diagnostic assessment is necessary and it can be beneficial for younger children, between the ages of 5 and 7, who are not yet at a stage where the full diagnostic assessment would be appropriate. A short report is provided that outlines the child‘s strengths and areas of weakness and some targets/recommendations are included.
Please note, this assessment does NOT give a diagnosis.
The assessment lasts approximately 2 hours.
